About NewGen Clinical Care Pharmacy
NewGen Clinical Care Pharmacy was founded in 2020 with a vision to provide a more personalized approach to pharmacy care. As an independently owned community and clinical pharmacy, we believe healthcare should extend beyond simply dispensing medications. Our goal is to understand each patient's individual needs and work collaboratively with patients and healthcare providers to develop solutions that support better health and quality of life.
Located in Port Richey, Florida, NewGen Clinical Care Pharmacy provides traditional prescription services along with specialized services including non-sterile compounding, hormone therapy, pharmacogenomic consultations, medication therapy management, weight management support, functional and integrative medicine, vaccinations, point-of-care testing, and other personalized wellness services.
Our compounding services allow us to prepare customized medications when commercially available products may not meet a patient's individual needs. We work closely with prescribers to customize dosage forms, strengths, and formulations when clinically appropriate.

Meet The Pharmacist
Virginia Cleaver is the founder, owner, and pharmacist of NewGen Clinical Care Pharmacy. She brings more than 20 years of experience as a pharmacist and an extensive background in community, clinical, consultant, and personalized pharmacy practice.
Dr. Cleaver earned her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Florida A&M University and later earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Florida. Her interest in individualized medication therapy led her to complete a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a concentration in Personalized Medicine and Pharmacogenomics at the University of Florida. She has also completed graduate education in trauma-informed integrative care and continues to expand her education in functional and integrative nutrition.
Her professional interests include pharmacogenomics, functional and integrative medicine, non-sterile compounding, hormone therapy, medication management, and personalized approaches to health and wellness.
Dr. Cleaver founded NewGen Clinical Care Pharmacy because she wanted to create a pharmacy where patients could receive more individualized attention and where pharmacists could play a greater role in helping patients understand their medications and overall health.
Her philosophy is simple: every patient is unique, and their healthcare should reflect that individuality.
At NewGen Clinical Care Pharmacy, Dr. Cleaver strives to combine the science of pharmacy with personalized, compassionate care—helping patients and their healthcare providers find solutions designed around the individual rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
